Official rules

Play fair. Win fair.

These are the rules for every Gipa Gaming giveaway and tournament. Taking part means you agree to them. Questions? Ask an admin in the Discord.

Giveaway rules

Last updated 25 October 2026

1

Who runs the giveaways

Giveaways are run by Gipa Gaming. They are not sponsored, endorsed or run by YouTube, Google, Discord, or any game publisher, and none of them are responsible for the giveaway.

2

When they happen

There are four giveaways a month, one each week. Each prize is shown on the website and announced in the Discord, along with when entries open and close and which stream it will be drawn on. Winners are drawn live on the Thursday or Friday stream on youtube.com/@GipaGaming.

3

Who can enter

  • Anyone aged 13 or older. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to accept a prize.
  • One person, one entry route. Using extra or fake accounts gets every account disqualified.
  • Gipa Gaming admins, moderators and whoever runs the draw can't win.
4

How to enter

Entering is free. You never have to buy, pay or subscribe to anything to enter or win.

2 entriesDiscord members: enter on the giveaway post in the Gipa Gaming Discord before entries close.
1 entryYouTube viewers: type the giveaway keyword shown on stream into the live chat while entries are open.

This is what "Discord members get priority" means: members have double the chance to win.

5

How the winner is picked

The winner is picked at random, live on stream, using a random picker shown on screen. Every entry has the same chance. Discord members count twice.

6

Claiming your prize

  • Winners are announced on stream, in the Discord, and in the Hall of Fame on the website.
  • Message a Gipa Gaming admin in the Discord within 48 hours. If you don't, a new winner is drawn.
  • We will never ask for your password, payment or a "delivery fee" to claim a prize. Anyone who does is a scammer. Report them to an admin.
7

Prizes

  • The prize is what's written on the website and in the announcement. It can't be exchanged for cash unless the announcement says so, and it can't be passed to someone else.
  • Digital prizes (codes, gift cards, in-game items) are sent by Discord direct message.
  • Physical prizes: we'll agree delivery or pickup with the winner. If we can't deliver to where you live, we'll offer a prize of similar value instead.
  • You can win at most one giveaway per calendar month, so more people get a chance.
8

Disqualification

We can disqualify anyone who cheats, uses bots or multiple accounts, harasses other members, or breaks the Discord server rules or Discord's own terms. A disqualified winner is replaced by a new draw.

9

Changes and your information

If something outside our control happens, we may change, delay or cancel a giveaway and will announce it in the Discord. How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy. Winners' display names are announced publicly.

Tournament rules

Last updated 25 October 2026

1

Registering

  • Register on the Gipa Gaming website after signing in with Discord. For team tournaments the captain registers the whole team. You must be a member of the Gipa Gaming Discord.
  • Each person can make one entry per tournament, and each player can be on only one team per tournament.
  • You can edit your entry until registration closes. After that, changes need an admin's approval.
  • When a tournament is full, registration closes automatically.
2

Who can play

  • Every player must be 13 or older and follow the game's own terms of service.
  • Play on your own account. Account sharing or playing on someone else's account means disqualification.
  • Only registered players, including registered substitutes, can play.
3

Format

Each tournament's format is shown on its card on the website and in the Discord announcement. If it doesn't say otherwise:

  • Single elimination, best of 1. Semi-finals and the final are best of 3.
  • Brackets or groups are drawn at random once registration closes and posted in the Discord.
  • Game settings (map, mode, lobby options) are set by the admins and announced before the first match.
4

Match day

  • Captains (or solo players) check in on the Discord 30 minutes before their match.
  • Admins post the lobby or room details in the Discord.
  • Anyone who isn't ready 15 minutes after the scheduled start loses that match.
  • If a player disconnects early in a game, the captain can ask an admin for a pause or restart. Each team gets one restart per match.
5

Fair play

No cheats, scripts, macros or exploits. No watching the live stream of your own match. No toxicity, slurs or harassment towards anyone. Breaking these rules can mean a warning, losing a game, or the whole team being removed, depending on how serious it is.

6

Results and disputes

  • The winner posts a screenshot of the end-of-game screen in the Discord.
  • To dispute a result, message an admin within 30 minutes of the game ending, with screenshots or video.
  • Admin decisions are final.
7

Prizes

Each tournament's prize is shown on the website before registration closes. Prizes go to the players on the winning entry, delivered as described in the announcement. The giveaway rules on prize claims, scams and delivery apply here too.

8

Streaming

Matches may be streamed on the Gipa Gaming YouTube channel. By playing, you agree that your in-game name, team name and gameplay may appear on stream and in the Hall of Fame.

9

Changes

Admins may change the schedule, format or these rules to keep a tournament running fairly. Changes are announced in the Discord.

Gipa Gaming tournaments are community events. They aren't sponsored or endorsed by any game publisher.

Quokka prize rules

Last updated 26 October 2026

1

How it works

Signed-in members of the Gipa Gaming Discord get a free roll each time they reach 100 boops on the quokka on our website. One roll can win one of these prizes: $100 cash, a gaming bean bag, a gaming headset, a mouse and keyboard, or a gaming mouse pad. The current prizes and the number of rolls per day are shown on the website. Playing is free. You never have to buy or pay anything.

2

Who can win

  • You must be signed in with Discord and be a member of the Gipa Gaming server.
  • You must be 13 or older. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before the prize is paid.
  • Your Discord account must be at least 30 days old, and you must have been in the Gipa Gaming server for at least 7 days.
  • One Discord account per person. Gipa Gaming admins and moderators can't win.
3

The odds

Each roll is decided at random by our server, not by your device. The highest chance for each roll is: mouse pad 1%, mouse and keyboard 1%, headset 0.8%, bean bag 0.6%, $100 cash 0.5%. When many people are playing, our server lowers these chances automatically so the prizes last through the week and the month; the chances never go above these numbers. Each week up to 6 mouse pads, 4 mouse and keyboard sets, 3 headsets and 2 bean bags can be won, released a little each day (for example, at most one mouse pad a day); the website shows how many are left. The $100 can be won at most once a month. Not every prize has to be won: prizes that aren't won don't carry over. If a prize is gone for the day or the week, its chance is shared out over the weekly prizes still available. There is a limit on rolls per account per day. Physical prizes are a model we choose; we can't swap them for cash.

4

Claiming

  • If you win, the website shows a claim code. Message a Gipa Gaming admin on Discord with that code within 48 hours.
  • The code only works for the Discord account that won it.
  • We pay the prize by a method we agree with the winner. We will never ask for your password or for money to release a prize.
5

Fair play

Prizes won by accounts that share an internet connection with other accounts are checked by an admin before they're handed over. Using scripts, bots, auto-clickers, multiple accounts or any trick to get extra chances is not allowed. We can cancel any win that breaks these rules. We may change, pause or end the quokka prize at any time and will announce it in the Discord.

Find a team rules

Last updated 26 October 2026

1

Who can post

Signed-in members of the Gipa Gaming Discord. You can have one open post at a time and make up to 5 posts a day. Posts close by themselves 3 hours after posting, or 2 hours after the start time you picked.

2

Keep it about playing

  • Post only to find players for a game you're really about to play.
  • No links, invites to other servers, adverts, or selling or trading accounts, items or boosting.
  • No insults, hate or anything you wouldn't say in the Discord. The server rules apply here too.
  • If you tap "I'm in", show up, or tap "Leave" so someone else can take the spot.
3

Staying safe

Team up through the Gipa Gaming Discord. Never share your password, phone number or payment details with anyone you meet here. Report anything that worries you to an admin.

4

Moderation

Admins can take down any post. Breaking these rules can get you kept off the board or out of the server.
